Os Or Not?

I compared your pics to these. I'll be very surprised if yours isn't an OS Mardi. Both sure look sufficiently porky to me.

Given the size of the lever relative to the rest of the pen, I would say it is actually a little shorter, like a vest pen. It looks like it should be a big pen because the nib is small compared to the section, but I think the nib is just small. But, hey, I could easily be wrong. I hope I am and that you (I assume you bought the pen) get an OS. Whatever size it is, it is a handsome pen.

Well, if I goofed, I goofed. Here's the clean one compared to the one I got, cleaned on top, mine on bottom, if I did this right, anyhow, it's obvious.

that great big old boat of a pen is an OS all right. There's a reason they called them OVER-sized.

 

I have a black one with nice gold trim. Beautiful pen, great nib, just too big for me. And I can't seem to get the section off, even with a hair dryer, but maybe I'm too careful.

The pics were lousy but I am hopeful it will look good. A cleanup and new sac (not installed by me) and away we go. Love big pens.
