Vintage Taveler Pen

Does anyone know anything about the vintage Traveler brand of fountain pens? Is it one of the third tier of pen makers? I picked up one at a lot auction as part of a lot of stuff. It actually seems like a decent pen. It's a lever filler, Nib says "Durium 8". I know I'm going to like this pen when it gets restored as it's really light, fits my hand unposted (I have smallish hands), and the previous owner has a purple ink in it. What's not to like, eh?

And I love the faux tortoise shell pattern.

Here's some pics. If anyone has information about the internals of the pen that would be great. My guess is the section needs heat to be separated from the barrel (whether shellacked or friction-fit).
