I really like the moleskine form factor but wish they used better paper. It's a shame. I prefer black and red because of this.

I really like the moleskine form factor but wish they used better paper. It's a shame. I prefer black and red because of this.

Ditto, I mainly use the first and only pack of Cahier paper I got as just kind of a scribble pad, $13 was too much to spend on something that feathers (weirdly in little spikes) with everything I've used with it. And the company doesn't seem to really care about their FP/RB customers, no resolution at all when I inquired about that problem being 'normal'. (But what could they do? send me more paper that I don't want?)

Rhodia Webnotebooks are very similar in size and have fountain pen friendly paper. However, they are more expensive.
