Wahl-Eversharp Doric Lever Broken

Hello from Sweden.

 

First time writer medium time reader.

 

Just got a Wahl-eversharp Doric and it has some issues.

 

The clip is missing, I don't generally use clips so that's a minor thing for me.

 

The sac was completely dry so I removed it gently but some pieces from the lever mechanism fell out. They are all rusty. See image.

 

A new sac is ordered and on its way.

 

Can I mend this in any way? How else could I use the pen? It is a very beautiful pen so I want it functioning again.

The metal pressure bar that fell out has those rails along its edges to accommodate matching little feet attached to the lever. Activate the lever while looking down the barrel & ascertain whether both of those little feet are present & not bent or twisted.

Thanks! I got it in there. Can't fully test until the sac arrives. Doing some cleaning in the meantime.
