I didn't know that about Amethyst. I really liked the color. It has no water resistance. I just gave away my bottle which I loved to a group of pre-teens who love it even more.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Parker Quink Black, after a little while, around two week that gray ink (supposed to be black, but rarely) turned into dirty yellow, almost golden, but isn't look that good. But that property is petty visible, when someone put a little bit to a paper towel.
