Wow, these are great. I need way more ink as I only have about 40 bottles and about 200 cartridges.

You are hearing from some of the largest enablers.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

More ink hats are good too... they are going cheap in the sales at the moment.

Hahaha! Ink hats. :D Too cute!

I definitely need more space. That's what I'd want as a gift - an entire room I could fill with ink, instead of trying to find boxes to put them in. This room would have to be in the cool basement and have no windows, so that when the lights are off, the ink is protected. Ah ... my dream. :)

I'd buy 'em a new truck so that they can drive by and get everything off their chest.

This is the thread that I send the fiancé to when she asks if I "need" another bottle of ink... ;)

My date is set for 16th August... I am stocking up before I can be more closely monitored.

I've got until January 17th... Mine's pretty cool though, and I have enough other hobbies that she doesn't think of pens and inks as that big of a deal. She sees whiskies and cigars showing up and then she knows that I have been spending. Nobody tell her what decent paper costs though. She would not see the value in a $9 pad of Rhodia vs the free tablets at the office.

I would take pictures of my stash except 1) I don't have a smart phone, and must rely on the digital camera. 2) Hubby is the one with expertise with said camera, and extracting pics from it. 3) I don't really want him to see the full scale of the collection, which is presently stashed in twenty or so photo storage boxes from the craft store.

Oh, never let them see the reality, if you do, they will start thinking it's acceptable to buy baseball cards or something.

Sorry for Rezzing an old post. I knit and a friend told her husband that all yarn is $4-8 a skein. Mind you she routinely buys sweater quantities (about 4 skeins of yarn that can run up to $50 a skein) so your comment made me smile.

Also, what is the skrip in that many of you have?

And finally holy heck everyone, so much gorgeous ink!!

Pics of all the FPN'ers dropped jaws at the sheer volume of bliss. I immediately imagined sitting on the floor like an acolyte, hoping I could get permission to dip a nib in and try some of those out. :) happy with my CMYK mixing for now.

Fancy dusting thingamajig to keep all the bottles polished. Microscope and mini lab for sheen analysis. And seeing as how it's nearly a year later, would an updated photo reveal yet more?

My goal is to be more like everyone here. Considering that I am shopping for commercial grade shelving, I am doing something right.

Congrats!!!
