I even have it written on my profile that I don't like blue ink, but that is a beautiful blue ink! I also like Violet #4. I'm in for a group buy, too, if it's still possible to join in.

Just wonderful.

I'd like to thank you, Amberlea, for your generosity in organizong a group buy. Count me in, when the time comes, for a bottle of Blue #3 and of Blue #12.

Thanks.

Dale and I have been in contact with Konrad. This may take a little while. Don't give up.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

We're not totally ready ... turns out when you are a one dude ink manufacturer ( we know a few), you need a little time to mix it up.

The colors of the samples posted so far look fantastic. As a one person operation I wonder if we could get an interview with him. I'd love to ask about some of the harder and trickier aspects of buildings inks, like:

- How tricky is it to hit the same color on subsequent batches (are a few of the colors ultra sensitive to the mix and amount of ingredients)? I have a few bottles of Noodler's Legal Lapis (from Pendemonium) that have a different hue from an odd batch. I personally like the color, but it's something that will never be made the same way again

- Does the manufacturing area become completely coated with dye particles? I suspect the dye components get everywhere and make quite a mess

- What quality control steps are needed after mixing a batch? Can a batch come out looking correct, but end up with unexpected Ph or unexpected concentration?

- What was the most unexpected behavior you've seen as you've built various ink colors and mixes?

- What's your favorite ink, and why, and what properties / behaviors does it have?

Thank you for putting a group buy together!

Konrad said that he would be in touch soon. Because we want him to do this, we suggested a few ways to make this easier. As soon as we here from him we will post it here.

Keep in mind that this first order will be unique and technically, these inks will be FPN exclusives because he may never make them like this again. So, stay tuned.

My goodness, there are some stunning colors there. I would very much like to be included in the group buy if it is possible :)

This ink was a topic of conversation today. I'll email Konrad again right now.

I'm hoping to see Konrad at our Pen Salon Steinhaus next Saturday. If he comes bearing inks, I'll take pictures.

I did hear from him. E, please pin him down. He's up for consideration for the next official FPN exclusive ink.
