But if you come visit, I'll put you to work on the 2015 fade tests and you can help review all these inks. Because if you came now, it is too hot outside to do anything.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Well, I do have summer quarter starting. If you paid my air-fair I'd gladly come for an extended weekend of inkyness. That might be a bit pricy though for the simple purpose of hiring on an inky-minion. ;)

Hey! Ink Minions are born that way - no amount of money can create one! Not that I totally know what it's like to be a Minion of any sort, ya know.

Okay folks, start looking in the Ink Review sections and give us feedback.

Do a search for

K W Z I - Konrad

So far, I've done 4 reviews.

DCRoe has done swabs of all the inks.

Saskia-Madding has received samples should be inking up soon.

At a minimum, read this one.

Look for the inks in the review sections.

So far, I've sampled, #44, #12, #27, #30 and I currently have #3, #4 and #18 in my pens.

Many thanks Dale, for putting this chart together. It helps as a touchstone for the testing process.

How can I get a copy of the chart please? I'd like to print it for future reference but it seems I have to save the whole page?

Trying to get at it from the pop-over you get when you click on it is not very friendly. Try to access it from the form post directly it worked for me.

On the color chart #3 looks kinda teal to me. From the scan I would pick #7 as a "blue blue" ink.

Here is another chart with my inks, this one was made by me few days ago.

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3tWuKWyhQmwQ0tiYk1QTUdTS28&usp=drive_web

Here is list of inks with some descriptions : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SsZLrha251E3kILbk4dBBHP9qJOL5YmwmMQ_z4sSjoc/pubhtml

Here is description how you can "read" the gallery :

Naming of samples look like this : 27[number of sample] s [s- for pictures taken in direct sunlight, c for pictures taken in diffused daylight] _ a [type of paper on which swab was made, "a" is Clairefontain 120g and "b" is Mondi 80g]. So i.e. 31c_b2 means this is picture of sample 31 made in diffused daylight, paper used was Mondi 80g and number 2 stands that this is the second picture made in the same conditions.

During last few days I was also successful in eliminating staining problem in one the waterproof inks - the same method works for another ink, and now I started to test this on mass scale for other waterproof inks. After few next days I will post some more info on how it's going ;)

Konrad.

I have a lot of tape - and I won't hesitate to use it!

Konrad - if #13 is not teal it could be the winner in the blue contest :)

Tonight I'll start scanning in all 47 pages of "light-reviews", and once I've got them all I'll create a big topic under comparisons.
