What did I just watch?!

( :lticaptd: )

I'm still trying to figure it out. Just watched it with my wife who's into advertising and public relations and we were wondering how much weed they smoke at Montegrappa...

Ummmm....I want those few minutes of my life back...

And that just continues MGs new trend of putting out tastefully ugly pens!

I watched the video without sound. Did that help? *Please* tell me that helped....

I'm not sure that "tasteful" described those pens. Maybe they're trying to cater to the demographics which made _The Avengers_ such a huge hit. Except that they misunderstood, and instead of Marvel Comics's movie they used that travesty of the old TV show _The Avengers_ by mistake (it must be a mistake -- I don't think John Steed would have used one of these... although Mrs. Peel might have been able to use one as a weapon...).

I'm afraid to even contemplate what the price on these is. OTOH, is anyone dumb even to buy one?

They must see a market that would go for this. There is the whole "Touched by an Angel" crowd that would love this (if it isn't beyond their price point). I can see a couple of televangelists buying one.

Both the Pen and the Watch are far too conservative, now Dragons with Ruby Eyes maybe......

That video requires a few stiff drinks or some hallucinogens to make it watchable, let alone comprehensibel.

OTOH, this one may be so unpopular and so few sold that in a couple of decades the collectors with checkbooks will be fighting each other at the market.

YMMV

This is the same, obviously occult, company that brought you that demonic Sylvester Stallone pen.

PS - Not that there's anything wrong with the occult or demons but who wants that kinda stuff in your house.

Well hold on to your wigs and saddle your pigs! Check this one out:

And yet another featured on Bulgarian TV (Why do I find myself humming the song from the Tinman in Oz "If I Only Had A Brain"?:

That their main selling point? "The most expensive pens in the world?" ?

From the video, obviously targeted at those with more dollars than brain cells. To be fair, Montegrappa aren't the only company with this target market.

True, but they least advertise it with a bit more um... (bleep)... what's the word... sophistication?

And that just continues MGs new trend of putting out tastefully ugly pens!

The text actually said "Montegrappa's Magnum Opus" so maybe they consider this to be the best possible ugly pen they can ever possibly make?...

(i personally felt the Chaos "trailer" was much, much cheesier, btw.)
