What are your thoughts on this subject? Extra fine vs. Broad nib? Italic? Flex? And what do you think of any pen in particular? Does Waterman capture the Gaulic look better than Montblanc?

And how about ink? Does French Blue make you happier with French Cursive than French Black? Is there any ink which is iconic here?

We will leave papers for another time, we are just talking pens and writing fluids now.

So, tell me your thoughts.

French cursive was originally written with edged nibs. Right now it's told with round nibs/pens/pencils in school, so you can use the one you like best. I don't really care for french cursive written with a round nib, it reminds me too much of my struggles in primary school, but some people do enjoy it here. With an edged nib it wins character and becomes more adult, in my opinion.
