Pretty cool. I have always used the droppers you get from a pharmacy for children, Large easy to read barrel, easy to clean, disassembles easily. I then t-fer to small sample vials and wrap threads w/plumbers tape, then wrap outside. I find shipping in old Altoids tins (flip the bottles every other one and you can get 5 in IIRC) prevents damage/leakage. I do think the pipette is nifty, though.

Some people say they march to a different drummer. Me? I hear bagpipes.

+1 on where to buy these.

Also, it seems that using an cleaned old prescription bottle (the orangy yellow ones) and alternating the bulb end up and the bulb end down, would also provide a very secure shipping container, although not necessarily as "flat" for convenience.

Update - RX bottle turned upside down - day 7 no leaks!

 

These pipettes, I've now used for about a year. You must send them in a padded envelope. It seems to work best to heat them and seal them with a set of pliers. Hot glue was not as efficient has I had hoped.
