Vintage Osmiroid Need Help!

I was given these nib heads recently by an old fellow friend of mine. I was delighted, but I don't know what to do with them. They are Osmiroid Fountain pen Lettering Set. I have four of the original six italic nibs missing: Italic Medium Straight, B.2, B.3, and B.4. I have no idea what that means. The guide is missing. What do I do?post-106769-0-11811300-1396795510_thumb.jpg

They look like nib units which screw into the front of the barrel, hence their easy interchangeability in a calligraphy set. I'm no Osmiroid expert but I suspect with a bit of research &/or help from others, you could locate a matching Osmiroid pen that'll accept the units.

Also I believe that some Esterbrook barrels will accept Osmiroid nib units, but I'm unsure as to whether your particular batch will fit the standard Esty. However Esties are plentiful & inexpensive.

Those nib unit will fit the Osmiroid 65 and 75 pens as well as the Esterbrook J pens. In the History section of the Ravensmarch web site there is good information on the Osmiroid pens.
