Sailor Inks For Kingdom Note

And I in turn blame amberleadavis for bringing up Callifolio inks in a Kingdom Note thread in the first place! :P

Actually I think that I am guilty of mentioning L'Artisan inks in the first place, so I started the derailment of the thread :-)

For L'Artisan inks, I'm curious.. I live in the united states and I don't speak french. I've tried emailiing them several times in simple english as well as google translated version of my text and they don't respond.

Does L'Artisan only sell if you are in France or the EU? I'd like to order a set of their inks, but I feel like I'm trying to maybe pursue something that isn't practical.

I never had to talk to them. I just bought everything online, paid online, and they sent me the ink.

I wouldn't have conveived of doing it otherwise... other than if my store ever had them, where they'd be less expensive. But AFAIK they (at L'Artisan) don't distribute the stuff.

You are mighty kind to take the blame.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

It was me that started the blaming, and only in fun (though I do apologize for heading the thread astray).

The Osidori and Kabuto inks shown in the first post have me pretty interested.

A quick trip to Kingdom Note this evening netted the three inks in this series that I wanted. Toki, Oomuras and Rurikak. It is a fairly small shop but quite well stocked including a wide assortment of ink brands. Reminds me of the Old Seattle Pen store for the few of you who remember it from the 5th floor in Seattle a few years ago. A very nice selection of pens but only one sales person working. There was one customer trying out inks (or possibly inks and pens) and the Sales person stopped and helped us, if that was one of you I apologize, I was willing to wait! The inks are indeed 2100 yen per bottle and very nice!
