Gorgeous, I want a Maki-e pen, I just struggle with that decision because they are so high ticket. (actually i technically have a maki-e in my Platinum Black tiger, but its a much different feel being all black)

If it is all black, it is not makie. Laquered purhaps, but makie is the addition of other colors. Someone correct me if needed, but I think true makie is the application of gold flake to laquer.

Absolutely fantastic ! One of the most beautiful maki-e FP's I ever saw. And the Urushi finishing of Platinum FP's is always exceptional.
