Best Pen Case?

One of these 24 pen cases is in the mail for $16.99 USD online. I've seen what look to be identical pen cases for $24.99 on a well known fountain pen seller's site. The reviews are pretty good, and I like the double-loops to keep the pens apart. The flap keeps the pens from touching each other when the case is closed. I'm not looking to drag this case out on the road regularly, but I do think the smaller size 24 pen cases are more manageable than the larger 48 and 64 pen cases I've seen.

Anyone else have any experience with these?

(That picture was scraped from the vendor's page - so obviously no, that's not my kit pen in the case.)

Hi!

I'm starting to build my collection, but want to take multiple pens out with me, how ever, as I am a student, I don't want to be lugging around a large case to keep my pens safe.

So what would you guys suggest, I'm after a small(ish) case, which can hold 3 pens which will protect them from becoming scratched or crushed within my bag.

Hopefully something like this exists. If not, anything similar will help. And all answers appreciated.

Many thanks

Tom

If you want cheap, zippered eyeglass case,

Check local goodwill.

I have a spare and will hold 3 easily.

I purchased a 3 pen case from Franklin-Christoph a few weeks ago and have been very impressed with it. The quality of the leather and the workmanship make the $35. cost of the 3 pen case a really great value. This is the link http://www.franklin-christoph.com/1-2-3-pen-cases.html

As a disclaimer, I have no association with this company - just a very satisfied customer.

+1 I have three of these in the two pen case style and love them.

I received two of these cases the other day. I posted a review of these 24-pen portfolios here:

This is the best pen case on the planet. You can stand on it, throw it against the wall, drop it in the toilet; all with damaging your beloved pens. You can even lock it. It's for cigars too but even a super long Townsend fits.

The Nock Hightower 3+1 bifold is a great case and very well made. I mostly use vintage Sheaffer pens that I've restored. There is plenty of room in the Hightower to fit two pens per slot. That's OK by me, as I treat the pens in them as working pens, so I'm not concerned about scratching those particular ones.

I really like the Franklin Christoph 3 pen case but I am a little worried that the interior "loops" will scratch my pens. They seem to be made of nylon not leather? Any experiences out there in FPN?
