I was playing with my lightbox and decided to photograph my entire Italian pen collection, which amounts to a grand total of two pens from OMAS and Delta.

The OMAS Paragon in Maroon/Rose Gold Trim. The distinctive 12-faceted pen body is meant to resemble a 12-sided Greek Doric column.

The maroon cotton resin body and the rose gold section match perfectly.

The Delta Stanfuffo Grande Circo. The celluloid literally glows in the hand. The pearlescent colour and depth of finish are unparalleled.

Stunning photos.

Especially the mirroring surface gives a nice touch of class!

Could you describe your photographic setup please.

I'm looking for a lightbox, but am a bit confused about the best lighting.

I use the Smith Victor Imagemaker kit, which comes with two 26 watt white fluorescent lamps. You can buy it from Adorama here (no affiliations etc). I also use a tripod and remote control for my photos. The mirror surface is actually a highly reflective cast acrylic sheet. Hope that helps!

Thanks to all for the kind comments!
