Best Looking Pen You've Ever Seen?

I presume the best looking pen *that I own* will suffice.

Every pen I own, to me, has it's own outer beauty or I wouldn't have bought it.

I would say that at least these 5 cause me just as much Wow. Sigh. as the day I bought them.

Kullock Aero 51 in Parker Blue Centennial material, Octanium nib set up Exactly like I like.

.... Snip!

Bruce,

The Kullock Aero 51 I snipped from your post above is beautiful. But then I'm a sucker for the Centennial marbled material! What does something like this cost, or alternatively do you have a website for this pen maker?

Thanks

Wow, nearly fifty posts and nobody's gotten it right yet? ;) The one and only, no contest, refined, subtle beauty, understated and overpowering:

Sorry for the fuzzy cell phone pic, but the glamor should shine through. This thread may now continue for those who wish to nominate their favorites for second place. :P

For me it's a toss-up between two pens, interestingly of similar color. The Montblanc Hemingway and the red (orange) Parker Duofold. I own neither but would love to have one or both someday. They aren't flashy or highly decorated, but to me they are beautiful. I wish they still made them.

David,

Kullock's 2 alias on Ebay are penpartsstore (the Miami location) and kullock (the Argentine location with the higher shipping).

The best thing to do is just keep an eye open at those two spots on Ebay. The bad news is I've only see them do 2 whole pens line mine, one sold at BIN for $250 and mine that I got at auction for about 1/2 that. A major issue is the cap in the same material. They want $85 just for the cap. (Remember, there are 7 parts to a 51 cap.) The good news is sometimes they'll have just a hood and barrel in it at auction and you Might can snag that Cheap. $50ish. They just had a whole pen in the red Centennial go unclaimed at auction with a Lustraloy cap for $150 + shipping. I thought that was a pretty decent deal myself.

FWIW, I'd REALLY like to have a Vac Major chevron cap band modified and put on mine.

Looking at the Fountain Pen Hospital's big sale today, my eye was usually caught most by any pen done mostly in rose gold. I never realized how lovely it would be on a pen.

I'm not the only one who thought that, because they were all sold.

The best looking pen I've ever seen is Montblanc Antoni Gaudi (and one I'm quite certain I'll never own). It may be gaudi but I love it. ;) http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/0/9/0/9/4/6/webimg/653647598_o.jpg?nc=182

The scary part about this is that the title of this thread could easily be switched around to "The Worst Looking Pens You've Ever Seen" (my own post(s) included).

I've actually seen a MontBlanc Diamond Solitaire Meisterstück in real life. It was UGLY like a jewel infested buttplug.

This is just about the one. For the rest, I don't think so.

This orange snake...

Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the photo. What number is the orange one? I can see by the nib that the black one is no. 12.
