Get your supplier of LCR to check before they pack it that you have the slightly purply version of LCR. There are also bottles of rather blue LCR which are very similar to Noodler's Blue, and it doesn't work for this blend.

Roger that. I ordered in haste, so I'll check it when it gets here. If it isn't the purply one, I'll call Goulet and request the correct version. Thanks for the tip.

So I just mixed up my first batch of faux PS #9. I mixed it with 7 parts water as I'm using it with a wet writing F/M nib. What a nice blue ink!. Thanks!
