Haven't logged on here for so long I forgot my username here was "GlennPen" not "PenGlenn". Interchangeable I suppose?

EDIT: Also, I realized I should've put "Subjective" not "Objective". It's morning man.

Anyway, a transcription for the "Objective Writing Experience"

"You know on the Goulet site it says this ink is not 'Fast Drying', but I feel comfortable dragging my hand all over the paper. Feathering is non-existing unless you stick the nib to the wet paper (hence 'Oops'). Flow is wet but not so much, very smooth writing experience."

I like this ink, and it's my first Green ink too.

Behold, the sequel! I tested the ink again (except for it's water-resistance properties) on copier paper to address the ink's supposed feathering problem, well, I don't see it guys! Maybe yellow Legal pad paper or Wal-Mart leaf paper.

Subjective Writing Experience transcript:

"Perhaps not as smooth experience as on a fountain pen friendly paper like Rhodia but nonetheless the ink is behaving the same way; wet, quick-to-dry, and mostly likely the paper will be destroyed by water before the ink is."

Also, I wiped the nib over with a napkin to see if there is nib creep for my Lamy Safari 1.1 nib; there is none.

I am surprised that you found this ink to be non-feathering. Yesterday, it feathered on EVERY paper I used: copy, Rhodia, Clairefontaine. And I don't care much for the color. I much prefer my more vibrant and shading PR Spearmint, which does not feather.

BGG is my favorite green, but it does feather on most paper. It's also heavy on bleed-through. Currently using it in a Mont Blanc fine nib, but probably will go to an extra fine to cut down on the feathering and bleeding. Still, it is relatively quick to dry and is definitely bulletproof and waterproof. It's probably my easiest flowing ink and I would use it in a dry writer just to tame it a bit.

Favorite pen/ink pairings: Edison Brockton w/EF 14K gold nib and Noodler's 54th Massachusetts; Visconti Pinanfarina w/EF chromium conical nib and Noodler's El Lawrence; Sheaffer Legacy w/18k extra fine inlaid nib and Noodler's Black; Sheaffer PFM III fine w/14k inlaid nib and Noodler's Black; Lamy 2000 EF with Noodler's 54th Massachusetts; Franklin Christoph 65 Stablis w/steel Masuyama fine cursive italic and DeAtramentis Document Blue; Pilot Decimo w/18k fine nib and Pilot Blue Black; Franklin Christoph 45 w/steel Masuyama fine cursive italic and Noodler's Zhivago; Edison Brockton EF and Noodler's El Lawrence; TWSBI ECO EF with Noodler's Bad Green Gator.

Thank you for sharing. I was sad to see the chalky look to this ink.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Nice review! I love green inks, and this was one of the first I tried. It's a really neat greyish green color that does appear a bit chalky.

I also found it to feather on cheaper paper (cheap copy paper and Mead 5-star notebooks at school), but no problems on Rhodia. I was gonna get a bottle with my last Goulet order, but they were out... I guess I'll have to place another order now. darn...

So many inks, so little time...

This ink still holds the record for the worst ink I've reviewed. :(

I wonder if newer batches have been tweaked that much?
