Ah, I haven't tried the Ebony purple, only the Blue Suede. I'd use the EP in one of my TWSBIs because they are overall, fairly stain resistant.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I LOVE Blue Suede, though I would definitely NOT put either Blue Suede or Ebony Purple in a demonstrator. BS has stained both a Platinum Preppy and the convertor in my Lamy Bluegreen Al-Star. However, BS is an absolutely perfect color in the Bluegreen Al-Start with a 1.1 mm nib. I absolutely love it, and I don't really care about the stained convertor.

I just had it in my Ahab, but the Ahab was so badly stained by Diamine Grape, that I would never notice another stain.
