The way I understand the process ( and may be wrong in my understanding, please correct me if so) is that bespoke nibs are one time charge for all the MB purchases from then on. Your writing sample is stored with MB, and you can order any nib later on from the MB if you buy a new pen (regular boutique price) and the nib will be ground keeping your hand writing sample in mind. Of course this would apply to regular nib sizes (EF to O3B), and new purchases, not used pens. A 6B above mentioned nib is not a regular, so you pay extra for it anyway.

What a stunning piece of work. I'd love to try it out. Won't be buying one though, can't justify $1,600 or $800 for a nib unfortunately.
