Where To Buy Single Replacement Nibs?

CF.

Recommended Posts

It has proven quite hard to find individual nibs without feed online, such as Pelikan M400, M600, among others. Any suggestions please?

A touch concerned about buying used online, but would be prepared to do it in a physical shop which is quite rare these days.

It depends on where you live as to where is the best place to order.

If in North America, http://meisternibs.com is very good. Also http://www.indy-pen-dance.com/nibs/ , http://thegoldennib.com and http://www.gouletpens.com/Shop_All_Replacement_Nibs_s/989.htm

If in Europe, things get a bit more difficult and the US tends to have better online descriptions.

If in the UK, John Sorowka (FPN's oxonian ) often turns up at pen shows.

Richard

Just curious, why would you need just the nib, when swapping out a nib is more work than swapping out the whole unit? You'd need special tools for knocking out the nib.

Not necessarily.

The modern nibs pull from the nib units relatively easily compared to the old ones. Which is just as well, when you have a c/c piercing spigot on the upper end of the feed preventing a knock through.

Richard.
