Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I acquired a bottle in a swap, but found it was one of those inks that I only quite liked at first and then less and less... Eventually, I lost interest in it completely and swapped it on again. I wouldn't buy it again. Personally, I did find it quite dull, although unusual.

(Talking about salix, the sister IG ink of scabiosa)

Boring, but permanent...so, permanently boring :lticaptd:

Everything is impermanent.

I really think that what makes R&K inks so interesting, besides the fair price, is their miscibility.

You can compose your own color. With salix and scabiosa, a mix gains water resistance. I have exactly the violet I want by mixing scabiosa, solferino, and sepia.

When I will run out of the discontinued MB midnight blue IG, I will most likely buy salix and other R&K inks to recreate a dark blue permanent ink.

Everything is impermanent.

I bought this ink on the strength of this review. Not disappointed at all, I love the colour and shading with a wetter pen. Then there's the added bonus of permanence.
