Thanks for the review. I just ordered a 1.1 stub to replace the original M nib and it is a total delight. It's my first stub nib, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it is very smooth and gives a nice line variation.

 

I have to say I really love my Vac 700 - a lot of people have had cracking issues with their pens or flow issues with the nib but I've had neither, it is a joy to use and to look at.

 

There's a good fpgeeks.com youtube video on how to disassemble it which is fun and.

 

Incredible value for money.
