Wow. Those are some awesome looking demonstrators! Would you mind sharing a list which ones are which? Because there's a few in there i'm going to have to look into saving up for now (especially the second and sixth in the row).

The second one looks an awful lot like my Nemosine Singularity (a very nice pen for under $20).

The second one is Nemosine Singularity, the sixth one is Waterman Kultur.

Oh, yep, it appears it is. Thank you. And wow, that's a really cheap price for a pen that looks like that!

The sixth one is a Waterman Kultur? After looking up what those look like, it seems that would be more similar to the 7th one in the row there. Although that's also not a bad looking pen for only $40.

Oops, apparently I have problems counting. The fifth and sixth pens are TWSBI's, and the seventh one is Kultur.

EDIT. I do like Kulturs for many reasons, but they don't cost 40 dollars. I'd be hesitant to pay more than 15 (not counting shipping).

Ah, TWSBI's. Just further proving there's no such thing as a TWSBI i don't like.

And oh, i usually use Ebay to check prices and i guess they're really overpriced on there. Maybe i should check some other places before buying from Ebay next time. Wonder how much of what i buy off there could be found elsewhere for lower prices. Hm...

While we're at it, anyone have an ID for the third and fourth ones?

The third pen is Ahab. About the fourth one I have only a suspicion.

So far, I've found the hooded Jinhao version writes more smoothly than the open-nib version. The Hero 359 has that beat in terms of nib-ness.

But I NEEDED a day-glo orange pen for my Chesterfield Fire Opal ink. So.

Anyway I just ordered a black and a smoke hooded 599 for possible fude-fication.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I've just received my new Jinhao ..... The most visible difference is that it´s a metal pen with no more window to see the ink level ..... But unfortunately, due to a bad packaging it received a shock during transport .... Let´s see the seller reaction .....

Have you noticed that they are also available in translucent plastic x 3 colours ?http://www.ebay.es/itm/360887525415?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649I have just ordered them!!!!!

If you do a search for "transparent green jinhao" you may be able to find a fountain pen of the clear lime green persuasion. Like the blue, red/orange and gray/black. I ordered a fountain pen and a rollerball in the lovely green and an ef clear blue. They arrived today. Way fun! The green seem to be pretty thin on the ground, but you can see a picture of one if you do a search.

I just ordered one of the transparents. All I found were orange and smoke.

I've seen the orange, smoke, blue, and lime green. :)

Lime green 599 is on its way, thanks for the heads-up!

I have an opaque white coming my way. Saves me so much over buying a safari. What are your experiences with shipping times from China? Is the estimated date reliable?

I've never heard of an opaque white version of the Jinhao 599; please tell me of the source. Also, my experince with purchasing from vendors found on eBay is that it takes 7 to 10 days for the pens shipped from China to arrive here in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Again, what is the source of the opaque white version?
