Only one way to find out - FIGHT!!!

The thing is the S.T. Dupont looks like a piece of art and I would happily have it displayed any where at home. But the Jinhao would be kept in a box out of sight.

Well art is in the eye of the beholder, the Dupont looks like something you get if you buy enough Dungeons and Dragons characters from a comic book shop to me, and costs the same as 633 Jinhaos.

As to keeping the Jinhao in a box, it would have to be an impressively sturdy box, or it will just break out whilst you're asleep and exact a terrible revenge - Hammer house of horror style!

I know people who would seriously love that thing. What does that say about me? :lticaptd:

At FPN, we learn that fountain pens are FUN .

Yours is certainly "busy". It's part of writing with joy.

Regular flushing (followed by rinsing) with a dilute dish detergent mixture, seems to keep Jinhaos flowing better.

BTW: Solomon never said "fountain pen", but I am certain he meant to. :D

Write with joy.

Yes that's why the 'pen" is added in red italic, so I don't invite any biblical plagues.

Totally off topic, but do we really have people here from the Pitcarn Islands and Fiji, or do some members have flags that fib?

I was born in Hawaii but grew up on Viti Levu. My sister still has her Fijian passport. My heart is still there. That is why I fly that flag.

Sorry, I do't usually get personal on here. But no I would not say I was fibbing.

Interesting, Does Fabbiene really come from the Pitcairn Islands - not many people live there. Isn't that where the descendents of the Bounty landed?

If Lucius or Draco Malfoy are looking for fountain pens there is an embarrassment of riches here for them...

Was that Jinhao pen not what Tony Montana used to apply for asylum after his boat ride? "Say hello to my little friend."

I have this pen. It's spectacular :P. Really though it's very smooth, it's a wet writer, it looks awesome. Really it's everything you need :P

Jinhao rocks.

I have a JinHao 5000 dragon dedicated to BSB ink. It's a wonderful writer, but lately the converter and nib are both getting a bit cranky. I am pretty sure it's the BSB, so I'll try USC to clean it, then add a new Schmidt converter. I like the ink and don't want to risk a more expensive pen, though my Cross Townsend survived it for quite a few cycles.

JinHao makes such fine nibs that it makes you weep for the other manufacturies.
