For The Pen Geek Who Has Everything - A $50 Cartridge Case!

Okay, technically it's just $44.04. But I bet it would climb with the postage, particularly if you're not in Japan.

It's made by Pilot in collab with another brand, presumably of leather goods since it's all leather (anyone knowledgeable about Japanese brands care to weigh in?) As far as I can tell it closes with a magnetic flap, and those look like Pilot cartridges in the piccy, so Int'l standard might be a poor fit. Bah! Then it won't work for me, tsk tsk.

(yep, it's that, and NOT the fact that my regular pen budget tops out at $30 each lol)

I carry my cartridges in a "Velamint" tin. I feel like such a slub. I wonder how many cartridges fit in a sliver

snuff box.

my carts are bundled three or four together with an elastic and use up one elastic slot in a pen case. 4 on top elastic 4 on bottom elastic and then you have 8!!!

The leather company is Somés Saddle. I have a couple of the items in Pilot's Somés collection (the three-pen pocket case and the desktop box with removable tray, but not the cart holder). They were expensive, but thankfully not made out of air and advertising: the leathers and workmanship are high quality and beautiful to handle, and I think will last a long, long time with a little care.

Wow, those look perfect! And the logos and stuff on the cover don't look half bad, actually! Pretty sure you could get the same size in blank and decorate it if you wanted, though :-)

I see your silver snuff box, and I raise you one of those fancy silver cigarette cases - for long Int'l Standard cartridges or Parker carts :P

Love this! So simple and immediate :-)

Thanks for the name! It did look like some pretty high-quality stuff, so I'm glad to hear it was more than looks! Love the expression 'made of air and advertizing' :P With your permission I'll start using it - there's a lot of things about that this describes perfectly yet concisely!

This is why Game Boy cart cases exist.

haha, I really wouldn't have a clue! I'm completely video-game illiterate, I'm afraid :P
