Pw Akkerman New Smaller Size

Since the big bottles last forever, even if you use them exclusively, I think, the small ones are not such a bad idea after all. I, too, have one big one to admire and I think, I will admire the small ones all the same, once I'll have gotten hold of them (note, that I am using the plural here).

.... I think, the small ones are not such a bad idea after all....

Exactly. They are not only no bad idea but an excellent idea. The reason I didn't already order 29 more bottles is the size. IMO they can keep their 150-ml things but a 60-ml job will tempt a lot more of us to buy more of all of them.

Awww, now there are only 5 colors available in the big bottle, from http://www.vulpennen.nl

FYI, they are: 12 Mauritshuis Magenta, 14 Parkpop Purper, 19 Rood Haags pluche, 20 Pulchri Pink, and 22 Hopjesbruin.

Would be nice to have at least one big bottle, as a part of my collection, but... at $39.-, could I justify my purchase? Awww, should have ordered them from Haag while all the colors were available and I could have justified buying three bottles.... Since I live outside EU, I don't have to pay the hefty VAT, so the price per bottle shouldn't have been too bad, even after adding the shipping cost. Ah, well...

After I return from the LA Pen Show, I'll organize a group buy for those in the US. Send me a PM if you are interested. I also have a few of the sample packs of 11 colors that I can sell. I swiped them back from my kid. I'll set it up as a classified ad which is the new way that group buys are supposed to be organized. Or we have to get some sort of pre- approval. (Which means I have to re-read the rules). Anyway, since it will be a week or two away, don't panic. I usually order however many will meet the shipping requirements. One they arrive, I repack them and reship.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Please let me know. I've always held back on PW Akkerman because of the size. I generally buy samples anyway, so committing to a bottle that would last me more than double most others is HUGE leap for a writer like me.

But...but...but I bought these inks for the big bottles, and I only have 2! :crybaby:60mls is not nearly enough!

I suspect there will be a market for empty big bottles in no time at all...

I hope to see them next Saturday, as I plan a visit to PW Akkerman's store. Currently, I only have Bekakt Haags and I might want to add a vibrant colour.

I can't wait until these are available! I always wanted one of the big ones but never got one-a bit pricey and too much ink. These sound just right! I like most of the colors as well, so the size/price might make getting a few possible.

Looking forward to the smaller bottles! I'll be at Vanness tonight for pen club meeting. Hopefully they will have the smaller bottles to sell at the Little Rock show Feb 28th!

Go to the website, and click on Inks, then Akkerman samples for this scanned image.

Having mild regrets that I went for the Simplisties Violet, rather than the Parkpop Purper, but I now see a smaller bottle of it on the horizon.

Don't feel bad, it didn't fade as badly.

WHY?!!! This finally made me drop serious cash in obtaining a few bottles for myself before the glassware disappeared. I wish they kept it... but now that there is a smaller one... it's so cute.... I want it...

But Parkpop Purper is still available! Look here. Price only upon request, though.
