It must be a great feeling to find an artefact that was once important to the craftsmen who made it, and almost a century later to bring it into a new relationship with a restorer and with an owner who loves it. Connection across time, I suppose. Not to mention that it is a beautiful pen! Congratulations.

Thank you, Ron. You've expressed some heartfelt sentiments. I often wonder, one hundred years ahead, who will be using a pen I've used? Who will be turning the pages of one of my beloved books?

What a delightful pen. Thank you for showing this.

Thanks so much! As I've said numerous times, I adore it. I must find a special holder for it.

I believe the things we had once come to us again or we to them...to cheer us on, to comfort us and to let us know loved things love us back. We and they are not forgotten but bonded...somewhere in time.

your friend always,

Edward

Thanks for updating us. I like the way it writes.

Glad you've enjoyed the update! I like the way it writes, too. Few pens in my possession write as beautifully. (I'm speaking of the almost exquisite sensation of nib put to paper.) Two Pelikans, both of which were gifts from a very generous FPN friend, give me the same pleasure in writing, and another couple of pens, (Hero 616s) also gifts, are very close in the running.

I love that sentiment, Ed. Thank you.
