Good day to all!

Could anyone throw light on the following -

Would the section of a regular Sheaffer Connaisseur fit the Sheaffer Asia Series bamboo fountain pen body?? The sections of both these pens look almost similar.

My second query is whether the section of a Sheaffer No Nonsense would fit in any of these pens....although I have heard that a No Nonsense nib would definitely fit both these pens...

Help on the above would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

SS

Yes and yes.

I have two Connaisseurs, a Balance II, a Royal Selangor and several NoNonsenses. I have verified that the nib sections on all of these pens are freely interchangeable. It does seem a shame to put a NoNonsense steel nib on any of the other higher grade pens, though.

I have heard that there are some early Connaisseurs that have nib sections that are not interchangeable with later models, and therefore not interchangeable with the other models mentioned above. If this is true, these pens are not common.

There are also some NoNonsense pens with rubberized grip sections which are not interchangeable with other NoNonsense pens. These pens and their sections are also not compatible with any of the other pens mentioned here.

Thanks so much for your guidance!

Really appreciate!

Well, as far as fitting a No Nonsense steel nib to one of the high end pen goes, I absolutely agree to your contention!

IMHO, it is more like a consolation that if nothing else works, there is still my No Nonsense to fall back on.

Would care less having a nib-less No Nonsense than a nib less Connaisseur, were the worst to befall :)
