Wonderful Experience With Todd At Isellpens

i ordered a couple of pens from Todd yesterday morning. i was surprised as heck when i got the shipment notice yesterday afternoon --- i honestly hadn't expected an actual human to see my order until tomorrow, being as yesterday was a Saturday. surely can't complain about that service; now i just need to see about getting my mailbox shoveled out from the snowbank it's in before Tuesday...

I ordered some ink eradicator and like $25 of ink samples from him last week. Scheduled for Monday delivery. It'll be my first order from isellpens, so I'm pretty excited about it.

got my stuff too, well packed and precisely what i ordered. now i have two more cheap(ish) Chinese hooded nib pens to feed my addiction. :-)

 

the Hero 616 wants some silicone grease to stop a slow leak from where the hood screws onto the insides of the pen, but that's fixable without tools. (my shirt, unfortunately, i doubt is. oh well, that's what i get for trusting a 616 before testing it more thoroughly; i should've been leerier.) the Hero 1000 is a classy looker, and the first pen i have that i can't write with posted --- the cap is too heavy, and it balances too far back. these will be loads of fun to get familiar with!

Funkmon - Cold weather? It can do that. But Todd packages like a pro, so thankfully nothing else was affected.

It seems that the cold weather has hit sellers, too. Ink shipments have been freezing in UPS' facilities and haven't been making their way to sellers like Todd. Instead, they discard the entire shipment because it partially froze and leaked – what a waste.

Yet another incredibly good experience with Todd! The converter on my Vanishing Point became stubbornly lodged in the nib unit, so I had to cut it apart to get it out. I ordered new CON-50 at about 3:30 EST. I was dumbfounded to see that by 4:00 EST, it had been shipped! It's not as if I ordered a $500 Pelikan. It was a $5 converter. Looks like I will be enjoying my pen by the end of the week thanks to Todd. He will always have my business.
