it would depend on the specific model, i suppose, but for the basic one, i've seen it sell in good to very good condition for about $75-100. i got one off ebay just last month, in black, with some high-point wear to the clip but otherwise all there and just micro-scratches, for less than $60. i'd imagine (just my guess) that one in really, really good shape could go for $150?

Was actually on BUY IT or BEST OFFER for $115.

Found the pictures good, a pending offer and few watchers...

So did not waste any time to better the rate!

Other Connaisseurs listed are obnoxiously expensive (lol) at $300 plus...

Was looking for one for many days...but certainly did not get as lucky as you 'at less than $60' :)

And only 3 bidders including yourself!

And each with high feedback...

Well, what was your upper limit? I see you had placed some higher bid amount for the purpose of auto-bidding..

Some scuffing there on the cap but otherwise a very nice buy!

I have also acquired a Sheaffer Asia Series-Bamboo Royal Selangor Fountain Pen lately..am hosting another post on it shortly. Please do have a look!

Have a good day!

congrats on the bamboo--that's a real keeper.

i think i did put a limit of $60 or so (i always put $61.03 or some such odd number, to nick those who'd bid a flat $60--after 16 years on ebay, you learn a few tricks ;) ). i've cleaned up the pen and buffed out most of the microscratches. the nib is buttery smooth and that's always what matters most at the end of the day.

Could anyone help in this one-

Would the section of a regular Sheaffer Connaisseur fit the Sheaffer Asia Series bamboo fountain pen??

Also, would a section of the No Nonsense fit in any of these pens....heard that a No Nonsense nib fits both these pens...

Any help on this would be appreciated!

SS
