I have an Aurora Ipsilon, a Delta Dolce Vita oversized, an Omas Paragon, and a Visconti Homo Sapien Lava Bronze Age oversized. The Aurora writes perfectly. The Delta writes quite well, but is huge. I love the Paragon since I tossed the titanium nib, which was mush, and replaced it with an 18k Omas broad, which Mottishaw made a wonderful CI. Then I got the HS Lava Bronze Age, with stub nib. It is gorgeous. It writes wonderfully. It feels superb. It’s my favorite Italian Pen.

While I will not present it as my favourite, I have a '50s Radius Superior which is a lovely writer with flexible No 6 nib. I hardly see the brand mentioned.

Oh man, there are so many excellent Italian pens! I especially love my Aurora 88 (new style), Signum Carina, my Stipula Vedo and Bellini, my Visconti Van Goghs, Homo Sapiens, and my Delta Dolce Vita.

While I love my Omas (vintage, of course, although I love my modern Burkina Ogiva), I am in agreement with praxim, who wrote this: <While I will not present it as my favourite, I have a '50s Radius Superior which is a lovely writer with flexible No 6 nib>. My own similar Radius (a lovely mottled green job) has one of my favourite nibs of <any> of my pens, including all my vintage Pelikans! It is a wonderful, flexy No 6 nib and a joy to use!

Every time I thought I went a little overboard, there is always someone who is WAY out there! :yikes: Congrats. That's beautiful!

Como

LOL - Give me a few minutes and I'll think of it

After trying Aurora (which I love, by the way), Delta, Stipula, and Visconti, I bought my first Omas about 1 1/2 years ago. I currently own 31 with another on the way. Of course, the LA Pen Show is in a few weeks, so......

I haven't taken a photo in a while. Guess I need to update this one which only covers about half of them.

I would guess it has to do with your pen being from the '50s and thus not readily available to everyone now....

Stipula Etrurias!

NICE!

Is the top pen the amber color?

Thanks,

In an earlier post, I went for the Visconti Voyager. I am still very fond of that pen, but things have changed since then. I liked the Homo Sapiens, when I finally got a Bronze Age. But then I got a couple of Omas pens, and the writing experience I get from those is wonderful. So, I'm now going with an Omas Arte Italiano, with an M nib, in bronze Arco.

Of course, that could change.

My favorite pen to write with is a Delta Dolce Vita Fusion. The alchemy between the gold and stainless steel creats a superb nib.

The old style Omas Paragon was my first love 15 years ago, and it will be my last. In between I went through a lot of pens and I still am. But I know that Omas Paragon will always be my last. Yes, Arco Brown, absolutely.

As it stands right now, the Montegrappa Extra 1930 in turtle brown is my favorite, but I have an Armando Simoni Club Bologna Extra in Wild Dark Side coming next week so who knows, that might take over the number one spot.

Just bought a TIBALDI IMPERO

COLOUR beyond belief!!

Be careful with this pen, the celluloid used by Tibaldi is prone to the crystallization, take it in a ventilated place.

The ruthenium trim matches really well with the black/ivory celluloid and in tone with the "dark" theme. If you like a big hefty pen, you would enjoy this one. It has a quite a presence.
