Edison Bulb Filler Nib

The Scribbler

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at purchasing an Edison bulb filler second hand and I don't care for the nib size. I'm wondering if I can change the nib with one of the new Goulet nibs, or a similar #6 nib. Note- I won't be changing the feed, just the nib if possible. Anyone know? Thanks for the help!

No problem with switching nibs, but nibs only.

The nibs that the Goulets sell will be fine, or you can also reach out to us to get one if you like. I can't speak for any other #6 nibs, however, as they are not all compatible just because they are #6.

Don't change the feed or housing, as those have been altered specifically for the bulb filling system. If you have any problems, just reach out.

Thanks Brian! I know you are busy and didn't want to bother you for something so simple. I appreciate your quick response!

They screw out and replacement screws back in. Like an Estie or Pelikan. It's simple enough I could do it and that says a lot. Enjoy your new Pen. I love my Edisons.

This is true, but be aware that if you are unscrewing nibs, then bulb filler nibs need to stay with bulb fillers. Pump Filler nibs need to stay with pump fillers. You can't take a standard nib intended for a converter pen and screw it into a bulb or pump filler. This is why I mentioned above to switch the nib only, but keep the feed and housing.

All of this is covered with each respective video regarding each filling system, which you'll see on our website. Thanks!
