Parker 51 Burgundy Color Difference. Please Help.

Remember that replacement barrels aren't dated even during the time they dated the finished pens.

 

I DO NOT know if that held true on replacement Plum barrels with them having the shortest of all Aero production periods.

So to summurize:

 

All Parker 51 pens up to 1952 year were "barrel dated" unless some parts were replaced under guarantee terms?

Per Tony, up to '53 in the US, up to '59 in England. Replacement barrels weren't dated.
