The Writing Desk in the UK seems to have Prussian Blue in stock. As I noted, it us under Market Test in the US. It *appears* that it is in production for the UK but it's hard to be sure. I'd recommend contacting the folks at TWD for more info.

i do know that input is being gathered from the market test distributors. I've given Sam at Pendemonium my positive .02.

Prussian Blue can also be mailed to you from Sam at Pendemonium, although, come to think of it, that's not much of an advantage if it's going overseas, is it?

I must say that I am very impressed with the Diamine line of inks. I find their colors just intense enough but without causing endless drying times. They are also free-flowing in all my pens. They cost a little more, but the bottles are large and their quality is worth it IMHO.

I'm quite struck by the Ottoman Azure and Naples Blue. Most of my blues trend dark or "standard" (Noodlers Blue, Midnight, Blue-Black).

I especially like colors that show a lot of variation from light to dark tone in the letter forms. That makes pen based writing even more striking.

These are some nice colors.

i've liked all the inks i've tried from Diamine and agree with what you're saying - rich enough without being overwhelming, and not washed out.

i have never been a big "blues" fan. But lately I've been completely enthralled with all the possibilities - especially with the new (to the US) inks out there (Noodler's, Diamine.)

Ottoman Azure is lovely (there's a handwritten review below in the "reviews" forum) and has become a favorite.

Naples is a very rich turquoise - more intense than any turquoise I've seen and a bit darker than most probably. I just can't get into turquoise for some reason. so right now it basically takes up space. I will probably try to convince my daughter to switch to Ottoman Azure which is similar to a mix I make for her from Naples and Cobalt. The only reason I hang onto the Naples.

i think based on your tone variation comment that you would find the Prussian blue to be nice. I will be putting up a sample here this weekend that shows it in a Mitchell Roundhand dip nib. Really shows the variation of this ink.
