Ah. I knew only about FOP, which is the forum that hosts the Poland Pen Show. I had not heard about PWF.

 

Seems that we might know some of the same people. Unfortunately, my Polish so far is only sufficient to talk to a dog, and she sometimes ignores me.

My Polish friends all apologize for their English, while I am completely confounded by the Polish SOUNDS. I mean... "szsc" occurs naturally in some words! What?! Tonight, a friend spelled tchaste (hello) for me. It is spelled cześć. What?! (I'm laughing at myself.)

 

While my friends' English vocabularies and pronunciation are improving, my Polish is limping along. But I finally said "zoshtan!" to the dog tonight on a walk, and it worked! She stood still and looked at me as if to say, "Is that what you've been trying to say to me all this time? I'm not disobedient; I can't understand what you're saying to me."

 

I am very grateful for my friends' ability (and willingness) to speak English. And for their patience as I try to make these new sounds that they assure me are syllables and words. Polish requires using different mouth muscles, for sure.

 

Again, I like your drawings. I especially like the abstract designs and lettering.

Most portraits presents specific person: Pelikan Amber - Lauren Bacall, Midnight Blue is reworked photo of Monika Jagaciak in Atelier Versace, to the first portrait I have used photo of a young actress, now I can not remember what it was her name. PWF Blue Dream is like you said Jean Reno from the movie Leon.Sketch for Raven Red was made based on a picture taken Zakk Wylde probably in the 90s.

You wrote that you are using majority Sailor 1911 Large. Why that pen?

You wrote that you are using majority Sailor 1911 Large. Why that pen?

In general, I use Sailor because it very easily and quickly to clean. It has a great wet nib. Basically the average thickness of the lines is M but also writes quite well reversed. then lines is about EF-F. Thanks to this I don't have to fill another pen with the same ink.

 

As for the outside FP things that I use. In most it pencils of different diameter of graphite. Personally, I prefer mechanical pencils but I have a dozen ordinary. Elapse of time to do the background or some detail I use inntch things like cotton buds, brushes or Pilot Parallel Pen.
