The weird thing is, after I dipped the pen and cleaned off the section, I wrote almost a full page of text (A5 but still) without even dipping! and then after that, one dip in water only kept it going for another two paragraphs... I never realized I had a bottle of magic ink in my ink drawer!

Was the the eel black that was magic?

So it would seem. Black Noodler's American Eel. Before this adventure I had not noticed any magical properties, but after cleaning up the stain on the section of my pen, to keep it writing for a whole page, on one dip... impressive. Will use more often, and see if the nice characteristics persist.

Mine arrived yesterday.

Have yet to try it, but I bought it primarily for its "cleaning" properties.
