Special batch of Amber select papers with doodles - preferable for you to write to other FPNers using FP inks and post up as Co-Razy Reviews.

Each person who doodles a Pacman character - suitable as an Amber Avatar (Ghost, Pac, Ms. Pac -- whatever), will get a letter from me with at least five sheets of writing paper with a written sample of an ink I am reviewing.

Sheets may be lined papers like this:

Or doodle sheets like this:

This PIF will be open for at least one week.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Thank you so much Maggie! I finally had a chance to figure out the pen and see how it handles. Blessings to you for your generousity! http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J0MohZjxpYI/U-zENly1xgI/AAAAAAAABGs/H-QrGJA9lTw/s1600/0814140907.jpg

So glad it found a good home! Enjoy!

I have three Esties in need of a good home. These are fantastic pens that just don't get enough use in my rotation. One is silver in colour, recently restored and in beautiful working condition. The others are red and copper, both in need of a a little TLC (I think just new sacs are needed as the levers seem to be in good working order). They would be perfect pens for someone interested in learning to repair pens.

I'm a poor student, so I'll have to restrict shipping to North America to keep costs down.

If you are interested in these pens, please send me a PM with a picture of either your dream car or your favourite piece of audio equipment. On August 15th I'll choose a picture at random and contact the winner for their shipping coordinates and post the winner here.

With the aid of a random number generator, the winner has been chosen: Congrats to Mr. JW. Thanks to all who played along - I've got some great car pics to enjoy now. :)

I've not been on here a while, so this has probably already been said, but that is a pretty sweet way to choose a winner!

Not to mention the PIF is of Esties, a sure way to start an addiction.

ETA: I meant to quote the quote above that statement, about sending pics of cars and audio equipment.

PIF time!

I'm offering a Kaigelu 363 with,I believe, a fine nib. I received this in PIF shortly after joining this site as I was curious about Japanese pens. It is more substantial than I expected (a bonus), but after getting hooked on Esterbrooks, I didn't use it often enough to compel me to keep hold of it.

The pen body, cap and section are all metal: cap and body look to be brushed aluminium with gold colored trim, section is black/gold. It comes with a converter and one cartridge which IIRC is blue. I'm also including a 5ml sample of my favorite blue ink, Noodler's Midway Blue.

This is open to anyone, anywhere. If you're interested, send me a PM. I'll keep it open until August 28th and draw with a random number generator.post-111612-0-59660800-1408118749_thumb.jpgpost-111612-0-14992900-1408119109_thumb.jpg

OOOH! I love this pen <3

JS, but the Kaigelu (Kangaroo) is a Chinese pen, and it usually has an M nib. I own this one as well (was my frst >w<), and it's wonderful (it's on it's way back to me from Art in the USA after grinding the nib :) ). Whoever gets it is lucky!

I stand corrected. I honestly couldn't remember. The nib isn't marked but it does put down what I would consider a medium line. I like F to EF myself, so that might be why it didn't get much use.

I should also add that I checked with the original PFer of the pen and he's okay with it being passed on again.

I'll draw winners in 6 days. Sunday 17:00 (5pm) in germany. I'm not 100% sure if I'll be drawing on luck or if I will choose the winner but when there's a tie it's going to be luck in the end.

You may apply to multiple pens, but you can only win one of the pens. To apply for any of the pens please write me a PM why I should choose you as the new owner of that pen.

Rex Blau goes to pepperoni-pepperoni

Rex Orange goes to GMYoussef

Dilli Grün goes to LeeBG

Congratulations, see your PMs for further instructions :)

If you haven't won this time don't be sad, I've got another PIF incoming, they reduced the prices for the pens here so I'm going to get some additional training material soon :)

My Pens/Nibs (inked/active): Lamy Studio/Vista/Joy (XXF slight-flex custom | 14k EF | EF | F | 14k M | M | B | 14k 1.1 custom | 1.1 | 1.5 | 1.9), TWSBI Diamond 580 (F | Pendleton BadBoy | Zebra G | F.P.R. semi-flex), Pilot Falcon EF, Penkala Vintage 14k semi-flex, Pilot Parallel (2.4 | 3.8 | 6.0)

http://www.fp-ink.info/img/button.pngI'm still looking for help/data/supporters/sponsors for my Ink Database - It already contains over 900 Inks but is still low on data about the inks except on the Inks I got myself or where I found nice data sheets. So Im looking for these: InkSamples mailed to me, Permissions to use InkReviews - preferable by people who have a lot of InkReviews online, InkReviews mailed to me so I can scan them, Sponsors that will help me to finance InkSamples, People willing to trade InkSamples (list of available Inks from me is available via PM request - please include available Inks)

I am offering an oversized purple fauxdori cover. It is bit enough to hold 6-8 Midori notebooks. I originally got it on Etsy. The leather is a bit stiff for my taste, and the dye job isn't perfect (as the case has aged the leather/ink has rippled sort of) but it will keep your notebooks safe, and if you are into leather work you could try to die it again.

I am no longer using it because I have recently discovered very high quality custom Midori covers made by FPN member My63, and am replacing my other midoris with his.

If you are interested please shoot me a PM. Please let me know why you would like the cover and what you plan to do with it. I will probably draw names tomorrow night, but might leave it open longer if it seems warranted. No specific criteria, except I would prefer it not go to so done who already has a full size Midori, but I reserve the right not to put your name in the drawing if you don't seem to have a real passion for writing. Not limited to those who haven't won before, because this is a different type of PIF.

I will also include some ink samples.

Bardiir,

Thank you so very much for your generosity! I can't wait to start writing with the pen -- I think I will do my very first ink review with it since you've helped me so much with my questions about that also!

Thanks!

I'd like to say a public Thank you to Betweenthelines, who sent me a Rhodia dotgrid webnotebook.

The package was in the mail this afternoon, in perfect condition. My first Rhodia notebook, ever.

Thank you very much. Every page will be enjoyed... and the anticipation will be part of the enjoyment.
