That lovely wrap is one of my sewing intentions made real and far more beautiful than my sewing could ever make it!

I'm putting up a PIF for anyone interested in trying out a flex pen.

Since I got a vintage flex pen, my Noodler's Konrad has been neglected. It's a good pen, so I'd love to send it to someone who would get some use out of it!

It is a Noodler's Konrad in Red Mesa Tortoise. It's a good little pen, and I would hope to give it to someone who has not yet been able to try something with a little flex.

The Rules:

I will keep this PIF open until Sunday, August 3. This PIF is open to residents of the US. If you woud like to enter, please send me a PM with the subject 'Konrad PIF." Tell me a little bit about you and why you want the pen. A winner will be randomly selected on August 3rd.

I was gifted a Noodler's flex pen a while back on this PIF thread and I love it. I hope you get a good response to this PIF because flex pens are fun.

Unrelated, but another PIF. I would like to give away my grandfather's pocket watch. It's a Molnija one, hunter case. I am attaching photos of it - excuse the quality, I am using my webcam.

If anyone wants it, please PM me. Open worldwide, and I don't mind paying the shipping cost :)

Some details:

I don't know how long my grandfather had it, I believe it was over 20 years at least. The watch stopped working long ago, and winding it doesn't really work.. I cannot move the pointing thingies, either. It is other ways in a very good condition, so if you want to repair it, please do. I am sure it could be a great pocket watch if someone were to use it.

I'll keep the PIF open for a week to give as many people as possible a chance to participate :) Please only state your message is about the watch in the title, and next Wednesday at 12 a.m my time (the night between Wed. and Thu.) I'll pick a random winner :)

The PIF is now closed :) I got a lot of responses, thanks everyone!

I will choose the person to receive it in a bit, and post here \ notify them via pm.

Happy PIFing :)

p.s. I have started kinda working on some pen related stuff. If I find any success with a particular something I wanna make to PIF away, I will post here :)

EDIT:

The lucky person to receive the watch was someone who almost missed their chance.

Congratz, randomthinks :)

The outer fabric is the same as the pen slot fabric. This pen "wrap" does not roll up (but will fold in half lengthwise) and is designed for use in a briefcase or similar.

PM me with reasons why you'd like it and your location in the World.

Bump.

N.B. I am in the UK but this PIF is not restricted, I will send Worldwide.

I will draw this on Sunday Midnight UK time (7pm EST)

I'd love to enter as well!

My collection is small and I cannot afford to try expensive pens....

But I will pass since I'm not sure if you mind if someone won a pif or not, and I just won so... Let's let someone else get lucky :D

Just a week or so ago I won a PIF from
Guess what? It arrived! So quick! :D

Thank you so much, I'm loving the pen <3 Gonna ink it up and write!

JS, but for someone with small hands like me, the pen is so comfy! Only downside is it gets a bit heavy and too long when posted, but that's ok :3 And the grip section is wonderful...

Ugh.. pengasm *~*

Hi Skylar- the cartridges are Montblanc, in blue, black, and maroon (you can probably figure out which is which) and the other two are probably private reserve blue and pink, IIRC. Glad everything made it safely.

Just found out about PIF a couple of weeks ago, and I have a fascination with demonstrator pens, so I'll cross my fingers and see if I win this one.

I need a little clarification please. :) The FPN rules say you have to be a gold member to offer a PIF and get moderator approval. I've seen some PIFs offered from non-gold members though, so is that rule no longer valid? Have some ink samples to give and just want to know if I need to wait to offer them. Thanks!

I offered a few PIFs before without any problems when I was still a silver member, so go for it! :)

I got 10 entries for this PIF. Thanks to everyone for participating!

I used random.org to select the winner. So the Konrad goes to: Kosmic-kowgirl! I will PM you for your mailing address!
