Not sure if my offer fits within the realm of PIF, but I would like to offer to tune cheaper pens free-of-charge for those members who are new to the hobby. I know that when I first started, I often faced simple issues with cheaper pens that weren't valuable enough to send out to a professional, not to mention wait times etc.

 

If this is out of line with the PIF Mission please by all means let me know and I'll revise my post.

Even though I've been (hoarding) :yikes: collecting fountain pens and ink for a little while now, I'm still so clueless. I have only a couple of pens worth much, so will do an assessment and find something to offer up here. I must have a defective gene as I love all thinks pen, paper and ink. Maybe I was something important in another life, lol.

 

This is a wonderful thread and I just love the entire concept. FUN!!!!!! :D

So, what's your point?

The outer fabric is the same as the pen slot fabric. This pen "wrap" does not roll up (but will fold in half lengthwise) and is designed for use in a briefcase or similar.

That fabric is wonderful!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

The wrap is lovely, but I prefer my pens to be in a sturdy case. I also already have a pen wrap I purchased a while ago, so I'll let other people enjoy this beautiful piece of art ^^

I'm putting up a PIF for anyone interested in trying out a flex pen.

Since I got a vintage flex pen, my Noodler's Konrad has been neglected. It's a good pen, so I'd love to send it to someone who would get some use out of it!

It is a Noodler's Konrad in Red Mesa Tortoise. It's a good little pen, and I would hope to give it to someone who has not yet been able to try something with a little flex.

The Rules:

 

I will keep this PIF open until Sunday, August 3. This PIF is open to residents of the US. If you woud like to enter, please send me a PM with the subject 'Konrad PIF." Tell me a little bit about you and why you want the pen. A winner will be randomly selected on August 3rd.
