New Pen Wrap PIF 3 in/2 out Wrap in Black Stewart Tartan, Second.

Another one which didn't turn out quite right but is still 100% serviceable to carry your pens!! :)

The selvedge is visible along the edge on the outside and the "2 out" pocket is a bit small, still big enough for 2 small pens eg Parker Jotter size and will easily take a single bigger pen.

Please PM me if interested saying why you'd like the wrap and where you live.

Students and new users will be given precedence. Recent winners of PIFs will not be considered.

Free postage Worldwide.

I received my first PIF a few days ago: a beautiful handmade 4 pen wrap from alc3261! I can't even begin to express my thanks, it really is wonderful, looks wise and functionality, and I've found it to be a very convenient way to carry my pens. Attached are a couple images of the pen wrap, sorry if the image quality isn't great.

alc3261 makes some wonderful pen wraps. I love the one I won in a PIF from her. If you qualify jump in folks.

Just a reminder, today is the last day to enter for the Goulet Ink Drop 2 or 3 month subscription (outside U.S. and U.S., respectively). So far, 14 have entered, and I really wish I had the funds for more than one winner. I'll randomly select the winner tomorrow around this time.

Just a little PIF... Rhodia Dotpad paper

I'm only a week into the whole fp thing, but have already bought a Safari (F), the 1.1 stub, a Pilot Metropolitan and half a dozen ink samples from Goulet. Yesterday I decided to upgrade my paper a bit and get a Rhodia Dotpad. I currently am writing in old, but never used Moleskines (blech) and on copy paper, so I was super excited. I thought it would be love at first pen touch. I thought the angels would come down and bless me with buttery-smooth, dot-filled heaven. Alas, it was not to be. Turns out I seem to be in the vast minority in that I hate the dots. And I think I like a bit more tooth to my paper. I'll still keep some for doodling or other randomness, but I figured I'd share some pages with other newbies who are considering Rhodia and don't know if they'd like it. So here's your chance to get a few pages to try before you buy a full pad. I hate having anything go to waste or unused (hence why I'm determined to use up my moleskines before buying another bound notebook), and don't want the forests of the world to suffer because others succumbed to the same fate of hating the notebook you just bought.

PM me by this afternoon and you'll get a few pages of A5 Rhodia Dotpad folded in half to fit in left-over wedding invitation envelopes (seriously, they've been sitting around for 2 1/2 years - I need to get rid of them). I'll send out as many as I can, first come first served - probably about 40-50 pages total (if I even get that many replies.) I've got a crazy busy weekend starting tonight, so if I don't hear from ya by this afternoon when I can get things into the mail, I'll check again on Monday. U.S. only please - I'm not going to be able to get to the postoffice to pick up international postage until next week - so if I still have some left then, I'll repost.

I have a Jinhao 159 I would like to offer. It is bigger and heavier (50 grams per Goulet Pens) than my tastes and never gets used. The original medium nib was stubbed by the person who sent it to me.

In the interest of full disclosure it is not a great writer - not sure if the feed has a hard time keeping up or I am just using the wrong ink with it. I had some success with Waterman Intense Black. I will include an unopened package of international cartridges of the Intense Black. Open to CONUS only. I will keep it open until 5 pm MDT, May 17 and draw that evening. Please send entries by PM

For anyone new to the 159 considering this PIF, it uses a #6 nib, so if you want the nice heavy solid durable body, but don't care for the nib you have some options that you can easily install with just a friction fit (and hey... you'll learn about friction fit nibs lol).

- Noodler's Non-Flex Medium/Fine Steel nib : $2 @ Goulet

- Goulet's line of Nibs (EF, F, M, B, 1.1 Stub, 1.5 stub) : $15 @ Goulet

- Monteverde's Nibs (F, M, B, 1.1) : $25 @ Goulet

- Knox K35 : 8.99 I think, or 17.99 for 3-pack (EF, F, M) at XFountainPens

- Nemosine Nibs (EF, F, M, B, 0.6/0.8 calligraphy) around 6.99 @ XFountainPens

I just suggest giving the nib and feed a good cleaning of diluted dish soap pushed thru it, and you may find yourself with your new favorite writer.

PS: If whoever wins the 159 from Runnin_Ute, I will send you a Spare Jinhao Medium that goes with that pen, or if you prefer a Jinhao Fude (Calligraphy) Nib that came with a X450. Just in case it's the modified stub that's poorly writing. (or I guess I can send it to you Runnin_Ute, since it'll be there by the time you do the drawing lol)

The winner for the Goulet Ink Drop has been chosen. I had 14 entries, put the list into random.org, and let it decide who would come up #1.

The winner is:

Themadstork

Thanks to everyone who entered for your interest in this PIF. Because of your enthusiasm, I'll probably do it again a few paychecks down the road. :)
