(First, I apologize for the oversize picture as I'm not all too good with attaching images to these posts)

 

This is a photo of the current state of my desk as I was taking a break from writing an AP Government essay on the development of factions in the U.S. and browsing FPN. I have my two Safaris, a Pilot Metropolitan, a TWSBI mini, an Ahab, and a Plumix as well as some ink sitting at my desk. This is how everything really gets stored. They sit here and get pushed around and moved around as I need to do my homework or move my keyboard. The rest of my ink and pens are in the drawer to my left... The pens are quite simply layed down in the drawer along with the other bottles and sample vials. I would greatly appreciate being able to decently treat these pens that serve me so well.

My pens sit in a clear plastic bag with my ink samples from Runnin-Ute. They hid in a zipper pocket of my jacket when I have to travel. They don't like sandwich bag treatment but hopefully my pen wrap arrives soon!

dcroe, that's a very nice PiF, and if I didn't have my three beautiful boxes from Michael the wonder craftsman, I'd be very jealous of whoever wins it!

One question though. How does one mail a package without going to the post office? (and not paying through the nose, of course - I suppose you don't mean you use a courier service...) Very probably more cause for jealousy... it's not something that is even on the radar for our post office here...

Thanks to PIF, I have a few good fountain pens. I use a small cardboard box in which i received a parker pen to store other pens and ink samples. They are all very safe on my desk:)

 

Am a student. Though i have known fountain pens for more than ten years, my definition of fountain pen was anything that is a hero pen; until recently when i received a parker pen though PIF. It will be awesome to have such a cool pen case to showcase my heroes

My office has a neat little kiosk right next to the cafeteria. It's a great arrangement as long as I don't have to fill out a customs form.

Yeah, that's mostly the way that I keep my fountain pens, except for the ones in a drawer. I have a couple of those boxes, one of which is for fountain pens with problems.

Here'a a PIF...

 

What is up for PIF?: A Cigar Box/Pen Case with 8 slots. I bought this one a while back from BamaPen. The top has a picture of Van Gogh's Starry Night, and the inside has a detail from the same painting.

 

Who is eligible?: Please, let's limit this to people who are newer to FPs and need something to hold their pens. U.S. residents only, because I can mail domestic without going to the post office.

 

When Does it End?: One week from right now. So....Wednesday, April 23rd 19:45 PM EDT

 

How does one enter?: I want to see your need for storage. Show me (here, not by PM) your homeless pens and their current, unfortunate state of storage.

 

How do I pick the winner?: Whichever entry/sob story/picture I like best. I have no idea what criteria I will use.

New Pen Wrap PIF for Easter

4 Pen Wrap in Blue.

There will be a choice of fabric for the winner. These 2 are the latest ones I'm making Black Watch Tartan and Dragonfliy print.

I dont like the general idea of making fake accounts just for the sake of winning pifs. I personally believe if you really like something, and you have recently won something, you can still enter. This has to be your own judgement. It is upto us to keep the environment here clean.

And if some one gets caught doing that they should be booted out and publicly humiliated

Who ever said that some people are creating new accounts to get free stuff on the PIF was correct. I already got one. It's sad but the PIF brings out a nasty side in some people.
