Relatively new to the forum and back to fp's after a llooonngg hiatus. While unable presently to be more generous I'm willing to share what I do have.

PIF ink samples. In today's mail I received three bottles of Diamine I hope I got a good deal on. I'm offering 3ml of Oxblood, Syrah, Amazing Amethyst and some "vintage" (re: 40 or so year old) Skrip blue/black. I will pick five recipients with one caveat, you must be appreciative!

PM me to enter and I will post winners 2/23/2014.

No Clue what you guys are talking about. It seems like the manliest notebook of all to me.

I would use it, and that is an interesting pen as well. I am the guy that was bummed to find that the 6qt Kitchenaid mixers don't come in the same hot pink as the 5qt model. My wife thinks I'm crazy sometimes, but I like bright colors.

Yay! I'm glad you got them! Fitting to ink the Rouge Hematite up for Valentine's Day! I've found the gold to appear more as it dries. Enjoy!

Hi! Just wanted to follow up on the wonderful PIF I received from @jamesgatz - yesterday two ink samples arrived and I cannot even tell you how excited I am for them. :D I'll post another pic once I ink up with the Ku-Jaku, but here's a little scribble I did with the Rouge Hematite:

Sadly, my paper is not one of the ones that shows the gold well, but I'll be trying it on every kind I have in my apartment... ;)

LOL :P I wonder how many others think it's manly looking.

Exactly! No color should be either feminine or masculine IMO, they're all awesome. My favorite color has always and always will be Magenta.

If I win, i promise you that I'll walk into my Anatomy class with this notebook, dressed as a badass, dissect a frog like a man, then sit down with my pretty notebook and write my notes without giving a crud. This is known as the art of manliness.

I think you're looking back on those with too much nostalgia. Not a big fan of those. But you did remind me of one other reason Canada is good.

In the US, our Cadbury Creme Eggs are made under license from Cadbury by Hershey. Hershey, a few years back, SHRUNK THE AMERICAN EGGS TO 1.2 OUNCES. The original size is 1.4 OUNCES! The commonwealth has Cadbury made, or Cadbury subsidiary made, eggs, which maintain their original size of 1.4 ounces. NO, I AM NOT CRAZY.

EDIT: As pointed out down below, at least one other country, New Zealand, has been hit by the scourge that is 1.2 ounce eggs.

Maybe i'll go check the australian size for these eggs lol

Hello All

This is my next PIF and it's all about paper! It's a two-part PIF, each with different paper, each for different geographical locations. I am targeting the 2 parts of the PIF to those areas where the paper is difficult to acquire locally. There are no other restrictions to entry.

PIF 1

(This is for anybody located OUTSIDE the USA & Japan)

I am offering 50 loose sheets of the "legendary" Tomoe River paper. A4 sheets 210mm x 297mm Colour: White (actually slightly off-white).

PIF 2

(This is for anybody OUTSIDE the UK)

I am offering a pad of Duke No 2 size (178 x 137mm) Basildon Bond watermarked writing paper in Blue. The pad has 40 sheets & comes with a guide sheet and a sheet of blotting paper.

To go with the pad I will include a pack of 20 matching Blue No 2 (95 x 143mm) self-seal watermarked envelopes

This PIF will stay open for 2 weeks, until 6pm GMT on Sunday 23rd February. To enter just send me a PM letting me know which PIF you'd like to be entered for, or both if you're eligible. Winners will be selected using a random number selector at www.random.org

Good luck :bunny01:

BUMPING my Tomoe River & Basildon Bond paper PIF. This closes next Sunday 23/2

See above for entry criteria :)

I want to give this to someone in Canada. It is a small turquoise fountain pen. Shipping is a pain in Canada. It is a small pen about the size of your pinky finger. Both the fountain pen and pencil works.

I'm also available to meet up if you live in the GTA.

Yeah. Don't forget. He did say... "If I win, i promise you that I'll walk into my Anatomy class with this notebook, dressed as a badass, dissect a frog like a man, then sit down with my pretty notebook and write my notes without giving a crud. This is known as the art of manliness." Someone should get a picture of that. LOL

Fantastic! Couldn't have gone to a better person. I demand to see photos of it being used in front of judgemental peers.
