Parker 95 Dated Te (1985)

Recommended Posts

I have recently purchased a Parker 95 Flighter which has a date code of TE which is 3 years before this model was officially launched. I'm sure it's a 95 and not an Arrow as it has the single feathered clip. It came in the original box which is labelled 95 S/S G/T which is the correct description. Any thoughts from anyone who may know why this is the case.

Hi Flashlight,

I have also got an unused Parker 95 Flighter with the TE date-code (Quarter 1 1995) which I bought last year. There are also a few P95's on e-bay with the TE date code (a rollerball & a recently sold fibre tip from an ex-Parker employee). I think the steel cap on the Parker 95 appears to be the same as the Arrow one with the same hole for the clip to be fixed through. The only differences between the two caps being the design of the clip & the end tassie. I think it is possible that they had a batch of Arrow caps manufactured in 1985 which they used with the newer 95 clips & tassies at some point.

Regards,

Dean
