One COULD perhaps increase their own odds if say they were to enter more than once. Each of their entries would be judged on it's own merits.

Well, then I will see whether it helps to put it on my Christmas wishlist :) Don't try to sing it, you will have to twist you tongue for some lines...

A RED J? Sounds like a perfect "match" to me! (me being a green J with a Venus fine nib)

When greenie here arrived a few months ago he was sporting a 9550 EF posting nib. The nib and I didn't get along together very well.

I really like this nib though - especially with this ink. What is it you say? Diamine Steel Blue.

The paper is Red n Black (A5)

In fact I almost bought a SJ in red when I bought greenie here. The SJ would have been a bit short for me without posting it. I almost have to do that with a J.

Red is my favorite color too. I certainly could loan it out from time to time.

Thanks,

Brad aka Runnin' Ute

Would the Estie like to come to India? I promise I'll take good care of her, scout's honour.

I hope you can make out my scrawl (I was trying very hard, trust me)

cheers!

I see no reason why there can be a Loaner pen in India.

HI,

Why I would* want this Estie to be mine? There is little chance of it being available anywhere nearby for the near future.

Also, I don't have a red coloured pen or a lever filler in my collection and would like to have one.

As for the loaner programme, I think it's a neat idea. I bet people in my region would love to try this pen. It would be a great experience sending it out to them and hearing their comments afterwards.

So, I hope you consider me!

Cheers

MensRea.

Still not ready for prime time haiku:

Intoxicating

Dubonnet quenches lust that

Esterbrook inspired

Rich wine, some quinine

Taste it gently, just a drop

Ink flowing smoothly

From cream white paper reflected
