The 149 Club Got Me Today! New Purchase

Congrats on one fine looking pen! The 149 is on the top of my list. She is a beauty.

Congrats on your acquisition. I have two EF 149s and I think they're great. I write very small so I find M nibs intolerable. Your M-ish line might not be the nib's fault though. Maybe the ink flow needs to be adjusted if it's too wet? That's something that a service center could easily adjust and it wouldn't require a regrind. Also as already mentioned, different inks will produce different line widths depending on how "wet" or "dry" they are.

Good point about the ink flow. I was not thinking about that. Does it write wet? hmmm, not sure it is overly wet. LOL. But it aint dry or scratchy.

A 149 with EF nib filled with MB Royal Blue ink? What could be better or more fun for passing a few hours! Thanks for the photos. Very nice writing. I agree with Bernardo, more photos please, of the nib in action.
