I would seriously love one of your Bulkfillers one day, but that day is a loooong way off yet!

Is there any chance there'll be a "budget" version worked out for those of us unable to stretch beyond £150 pens?

That is absolutely stunning. The celluloid is simply delicious! I agree about the lettering around the cap band, it does look a bit generic. The rest of the pen is so gorgeous that the lettering seems out of place.

How large is it compared to a 149?

Thanks !

The pen is effectively nearly identical in size as an MB149

looks lovely!

but 40g?! too much for my taste...

Thanks !

Please note this is a "non posting" pen, so the weight is only 30 grams when writing..

Surely possible, we could alternatively also change the letter type...

Thanks for your input !

Francis

You are most welcome, I remembered it's ink capacity today when I went through half a converter in a few hours of notes - "Me need more ca-pa-ci-ty!"

oh my. what an incredibly beautiful pen.

Francis, this is the first time I've had the pleasure to see your work. How much do they normally go for?

That imperio celluloid is one of my all time favourites. From the beginning I've liked the bulkfiller mechanism; however, the original pens were smaller than I prefer. The oversized bulk filler prototypes are a good size for me and I love the #8 nibs. I'll buy one if I can afford it (ideally in this celluloid... :) ).

#8 is never too big. :D

Hi all,

Conid just confirmed they will start making an LE edition of this pen, dedicated & marked to the " Great war Centenary 1914-2014"

Given Conid only has a small amount of the Tibaldi Imperio celluloid left, the series will be restricted to 10 pens.

Production will start in March 2014, pens are expected to become available early May 2014.

Please contact CONID directly for prices and reservation : werner @conid.be

I hope I emailed Werner fast enough too (probably did as it was few hours after Francis' post). I'm waiting to hear from him one way or the other. On the upside, if we miss the pen in Tibaldi celluloid, I'm sure they'll be available later black Delrin and other materials.

Is it possible to post a picture of the pen with a MB 149 next to it for comparison (with the cap off! since the Bulkfiller will be a non-posting pen)? I received an email re: price--- 1418 Euro.
