Pensbury Manor Black Hard Rubber Pen Potion No. 9: Results

I have only used the Pensbury #9 on one pen, but I was very pleased with the results. The pen was a Wahl flat top in BCHR. It had almost no wear so the chasing was really crisp - maybe as good as I have seen. However, it must have been sitting in a display window or something, because it was terribly oxidized. Unfortunately, I didn't take any "before" pictures, but here is what it looked like after I applied the #9 potion.

I don't really see any graininess. I can't say how durable it is either, since I really haven't used the pen. But it sure looks a lot better, in my opinion.

Forgot to say that I used a brush. Seemed to work fine.

I've never used the stuff, but I thought I'd chip in that I've got a 52 1/2 V that's a nice chocolate brown and about the same texture as the Swan above.
