What Brand Is That Wood Barrel Pen?

Hi,

I recently bought this lovely fountain pen with wooden barrel and fine nib. I found its picture on internet as well but I have no idea about the brand. It takes international cartridges and it rights only 'iridium point Germany' on the nib. I would be happy if you can help me find the brand. http://justwrite.com.au/justwrite8/images/products/rosewoodfpbpwc_3.jpg

Here's the image (new host):

(original link being http://justwrite.com.au/justwrite8/images/products/rosewoodfpbpwc_3.jpg)

Which can be found on this store page: http://justwrite.com.au/justwrite8/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=703 (no affiliation)

Though I cannot help with the brand, sorry.

Looks to be either a kit or some Chinese brand. Nice looking pen though. Not really sure it is rosewood from the photo. Rosewood has a very tight grain.

I'd plump for it being a kit; my dad has one very similar in oak, only the cap band differing slightly, which I know was a kit.

Cheers, Al

What do you mean by 'kit'? it is writing wet and smooth, and I really liked the feeling. But still wondering about the brand. It is a widespread model I think, with lots of very similar images on the internet

You can buy pen kits, with or without the bodies. Anyone can put them together and sell them under whatever name they wish. There is no "brand".

I ordered a Jinhao that looks very similar to that off on ebay for $4 USD. FREE SHIPPING TOO!
